Description
A Ballet Through Mud, composed by RZA and performed by the Colorado Symphony is streaming on all DSPs. A Ballet Through Mud is a poignant coming-of-age story that delves into the complexities of love, the loss of innocence, the bonds of friendship, and personal growth. Drawing inspiration from RZA's own lyrics and the candid memories he penned in his teenage notebooks, the narrative also embodies his profound philosophical journey influenced by Chan Buddhism. As RZA eloquently states, 'out of the mud grows the lotus.'"
The album is available to preorder on vinyl and will be shipping in November. The record is pressed on pink and purple mixed-colored vinyl packaged in a gatefold jacket and includes photos of a ballet performance with the Colorado Symphony and a 12 page graphic insert outlining narrative of the ballet.
Art Direction by Danny Hastings (iconic photographer behind Wu-Tang's debut album cover Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)).
