The first words heard on Killarmy’s debut single “Camouflage Ninjas” provide a pretty good summary of the whole Wu-Tang worldview. “We advance as one,” says a steadfast voice that sounds like it was sampled from RZA’s vast archive of kung fu videocassettes. “Remember: The only way to win is to stay together.” That unified vision is what made Wu-Tang Clan “Nuthing Ta F' Wit” off the rip—and the same can be said for a plethora of Wu affiliates including Sunz of Man, Royal Fam, Brooklyn Zu, Killa Beez, Deadly Venoms, and so forth and so on.
Still, there was always something special about the Army. Killarmy succeeded in building one of the most fully realized identities within the Wu-Tang extended universe, transforming the Clan's mythology into a world distinctly their own.
Originally released by Loud Records—whose staff was apparently unbothered by 9th Prince bars like “Run up on the label, hold the A&R for hostage”— Killarmy’s third album features guest verses from U-God, Prodigal Sunn from Sunz of Man, and Frukwan of Gravediggaz fame. As fate would have it, the album hit stores on September 11, 2001, the same morning terrorists crashed hijacked passenger planes into the Twin Towers and the Pentagon, prompting President George W. Bush to declare a global war on terror. Against this backdrop, Beretta 9 lines like “My missiles whistle at you,” hit way different—damn near prophetic if you stop and think about it. A quarter century later, with wars still raging all over the world, the boom-bap blitzkrieg of Fear, Love and War has never been more relevant, for better and for worse.
Marking the album’s 25th anniversary, this special edition of Fear, Love & War returns to wax, remastered and meticulously restored via Coalmine Reissues, where every detail matters.

The set is housed in a deluxe 24pt direct-to-board jacket and includes an OBI with a foreword written by Rob Kenner, a comic insert, and an 8x10” photo. This edition is limited to 200 hand-numbered copies, exclusively through Get On Down.
