DJ Drama started out in the early 2000s releasing underground mixtapes in the Gangsta Grillz series and became one of the taste makers in Altanta Trap Music Scene. He released his first official Gangsta Grillz album in 2007 under T.I.'s Grand Hustle label. The follow up Vol 2 was released in 2009 and is being issued on vinyl for the first time as part of Atlantic's 75th Anniversary and Hip-Hop 50th releases.
