It has been 10 years since Reason released his first mixtape, In The Meantime, and the former Top Dawg Entertainment emcee is still going strong with 2025’s I Love You Again. His TDE debut, There You Have It, was released in 2018 (it was a re-release of an album from 2017), and his major label debut New Beginnings was released in 2020, followed by 2023's Porches. Reason was also notably featured on the TDE produced film soundtrack for the Marvel Studios film Black Panther (2018), on the song "Seasons".
I Love You Again, the first independent release from Reason, is now available on vinyl. It is just the second vinyl release from the Cali-born rapper, and features alternate artwork used exclusively for the physical release of the album. The 10 track project features D’Anna Stewart, Junii, Kota The Friend, Ben Reilly, Coyote, Ransom, Bas, and Hit-Boy with production by Mix MP, Ehll Evans, Mike Hector, Ted Boyd, Supah Mario, Coleman, Brokeboi, and Swavay. This limited run vinyl is a must-have for hip-hop fans.
