La' Chat first appeared on Hypnotize Camp Posse's compilation in 2000, after appearing on several Three 6 Mafia underground mixtapes. In 2001, she was featured on Project Pat's breakout single "Chicken Head" from Mista Don't Play. Later that year, she released her debut studio album Murder She Spoke via Hypnotize Minds and In The Paint Records, produced by DJ Paul and Juicy J. An often overlooked album in the Three 6 Mafia catalog, La' Chat solidified herself in the Memphis Rap scene with songs like "You Ain't Mad Iz Ya", "Don't Slang It" and her answer to Juicy J's "Slob On my Knob" with "Slob on My Cat." The album was released twenty-five years ago on CD and Cassette and did not have a vinyl release until now. Get On Down is proud to present, for the 25th Anniversary, Murder She Spoke, available in two limited edition variants.
