PAELLA! is a collection of tracks centered around themes of collaboration and connection — a project born from the rich diversity of each collaborator’s unique stories and experiences. Inspired by the iconic dish his mother would make, Stoic builds the album around the idea of paella as a dish created from whatever is on hand, transforming simple household ingredients into something new and unique every time. The dish, deeply personal to Stoic, serves as a fitting metaphor for a body of work that celebrates the power of collaboration and highlights the artistry of longtime friends and collaborators, while remaining true to the producer’s signature sound and vision. The album’s concept is evident from the opening track ‘PEGAO’, is echoed by Stoic’s mother on ‘THE RECIPE’, and bleeds through the fusion of a wide range of genres, sounds, and voices that come together to create something much larger than life. As the head chef, Stoic has truly extracted the best from each ingredient and crafted a vibrant, cohesive album that leaves you craving seconds and reaching for the desert menu. PAELLA! marks the debut solo album from the Grammy-winning producer, as he opens this new chapter with old friends and collaborators, established artists and rising stars.
