B-Real, the voice behind West Coast classics like "Insane in the Brain," merges his Latino-infused rap with Psycho Les's hard-hitting production, honed in Queens on tracks like "Watch Out Now." The album pulls from their deep networks, featuring guest appearances by Bay Area icon Too Short, Deftones guitarist Stephen Carpenter, Demrick, and Son Doobie. Singles like "You Might Know Us" and "Lyrical Hammers" - the latter enhanced by Carpenter's gritty guitar riffs - previewed the dynamic, genre-spanning sound of the project.
