PRESSED ON BLUE VINYL- IMPORT 7"
A-Trak! You may have been introduced to him as a World Champion turntablist, an iconic indie record label owner, half of Duck Sauce, a producer, a festival DJ, Kanye’s Tour DJ, OR a former Juicero advocate but you may not know that he had a Hip Hop record label in the early-mid 2000s, Audio Research Records.
One of the very few Little Brother records that 9th Wonder didn’t produce, “Step Off” falls right in line with the whole LB aesthetic, A-trak got busy with a bouncy joint (makes me wonder if Trizzy ghost produced any Kanye stuff from that era??) that ended up on tons of mixtapes, available ONLY on ARR 12” until now! Plus a mini instrumental on the same side of the 7”. And on the b-side Alain got with Dipset at their height, for “Don’t Fool With The Dips!” featuring 40 Cal, Hell Rell, J.R. Writer. Produced by A-trak himself plus featuring scratches, this track is a head banging grimy slapper also only available previously on 12” vinyl.
